The BattBox is a simple and cost-effective pre-paid collection scheme designed for portable waste batteries that arise in the workplace. By 2012 the UK will be legally required to collect 25% of its portable waste batteries which then need to be recycled. Currently only 3% of these batteries are being collected.

Used batteries are Hazardous and they need to be handled carefully to comply with current legislation. For a fee of £25 (plus VAT) companies can purchase a BattBox, which is designed to sit neatly on a desk or shelf in a location that is easily accessible. Once full, simply call G & P’s collection service and the BattBox will be removed and its contents sorted and fully recycled. It’s quick, it’s efficient and it’s cost effective.
