All batteries contain hazardous materials and as waste they must be stored correctly to comply with Environmental and Duty of Care legislation. G & P offers a wide range of battery containers, Battery Banks, that comply with all the necessary legislation for customers to store their waste batteries safely and efficiently.

These Battery Banks range from large battery bins, typically used for lead acid batteries used in automotive vehicles to mini tubes that sit on desks or shop counters to collect a wide range of waste portable batteries.

G & P provides the most suitable Battery Banks for each customer’s individual requirements. 

LB1 is a large Waste Battery Bank 763mm high, 1000mm wide and 1200mm long, capable of holding 1000kg in weight.  It is typically used to store lead acid batteries and large volumes of small mixed batteries.

LB2 is a smaller Waste Battery Bank, 600mm high, 600mm wide and 1000mm long.  This holds approximately 500 kg in weight and is used to store smaller quantities of lead acid batteries and small mixed batteries.

BS1 is a Waste Battery Sack.  It is 450mm high, 300mm wide and 300mm long and holds approximately 40kg.  It is normally used in conjunction with the battery tubes, which are emptied into the sack for safe storage of small mixed batteries.  It is not suitable for batteries containing liquid, e.g. car batteries.

BB1, BB2 and BB3 are free standing cylindrical Waste Battery Banks which are used for external storage of small mixed batteries.  They are available in a variety of colours and can be branded to customer requirements.  They are 1000mm high and 200mm wide and hold approximately 80kg.

BT3 is a free standing Waste Battery Tube, which can be sited internally or externally.  It is 1200mm high and 200mm wide and holds approximately 40kg of small mixed batteries.

BT2 Waste Battery Tubes can be branded and will store small mixed batteries.  They are 900mm high, 180mm wide and hold approximately 20kg and are intended for indoor use in offices or retail premises.

BT1 is a mini Waste Battery Tube, 300mm high and 180mm wide, with a capacity of approximately 5kg.  These are used on desk-tops, sales points or check-outs.
