All waste batteries are classed as Hazardous Waste and they
need to be stored correctly to comply with Environmental
and Duty of Care legislation.
G & P has a wide range of containers suitable for any
application, from garage forecourts to office use. Each has
been specifically designed to suit a particular battery size,
from car batteries to those powering wrist watches.
It is very important not to mix portable batteries with
automotive or industrial batteries as the differing chemistries
can cause problems. However, most mixed portable batteries
can safely be stored and transported together although
G & P Batteries recommends that customers take our expert advice on the
correct storage of each waste battery type to ensure
compliance with all the necessary legal requirements.
